How would you feel if you were the one being interviewed?!!

Today I conducted my first interview. I stood in front of the scott hall bus stop for about twenty minutes wondering which student should I approach and question why they are wearing what they are wearing? I remembered thinking to myself how would I feel if someone approached me about my outfit? Would I take offense and would I be willing to answer the questions? I finally decided to approach a student who was wearing a long skirt with uggs and a flowered print jacket. After asking her several questions from my list I asked her if it was ok for me to take her picture. She replied no. She told me that she didnt want her picture taken because the outfit that she had on today did not represent how fashionable she normally is. She stated that she got ready extremely early and got dressed quickly without thinking twice about her outfit. After I interviewed her various questions came to my mind. I was thinking about if everytime when I get dress do I want my outfit to represent who I am whether im rushing or not? Are people really concerned about appeareances and what others might think of them based on their choice of an outfit?! In that aspect the question continues why do college students wear what thet wear? Until next time...
